Using Trailer Lights as Low Voltage Driveway Lights

Question:

Can you use trailer lights as low voltage driveway lights hardwired to your house? Dont like the idea of paying HUNDREDS of dollars for low voltage lights and only need the driveway lit up when vehicles show up or there is motion.

You can use trailer lights as low voltage driveway lights, you simply need to have a converter like what is built into the NOCO Genius Mini On-Board Battery Charger # 329-GENM1 to convert your AC power to DC power for the trailer light compatibility. You will simply then use a switch or motion detector to be hardwired to that AC outlet the charger/converter and trailer lights are connected to.
