Battery Charge Line Kit Recommendation for Flat Towing with RV Without 12 Volt Circuit Active

Question:

Hi: I have a 2019 Honda Fit which I intend to flat tow with my motorhome. I purchased your Fuse Master Fuse bypass RM-76511 based upon your recommendation as I realize that a fuse or fuses must be removed from the Fit as to not drain the vehicle battery while underway. In doing some due diligence, I come to find that my seven way RV connector has a 12V power pin not being used. Therefore, my question. Am I better off using the RM-156-25 line charge kit and not worry about removing fuses, etc. or installing the aforementioned fuse bypass kit. Or should I install both, and if so,

Since the 7-way of your tow vehicle does not have the 12 volt accessory circuit active you'll need the charge line kit from Roadmaster part # RM-156-75 installed on the tow vehicle to complete that and then on the towed vehicle you'd need the part # RM-156-25 and you'd be set.

The fuses of your Fit will still need to be disconnected.
