Is Derale 5" Tornado Electric Fan # D16505 Loud
Question:
I am looking for a fan to put on some duct work to move warm air by the ceiling to the floor in a fish house. I am interested in the fan be quiet.

Since the Derale 5" Tornado Electric Fan # D16505 that you referenced is a fan intended for use on a vehicle radiator it's going to make some noise. It wouldn't sound quite like a box fan but it will make enough noise that you'd hear it. If you've ever heard how much louder the fans get on a vehicle when you turn the AC on that's about the same amount of noise you'd hear.
