Replacement Driver Side Mirror without Auto Dim on 2004 Chevy Silverado
Question:
can i replace the broken driver sdie glass with one without the auto dim feature or would this require cutting wires? i dont need the feature and most replacements dont have the auto dim feature .

You can absolutely replace the driver's side mirror on your 2004 Chevy Silverado with one that does not support the auto-dim feature. It will not require you to cut any wires. The new mirror will simply no longer have this function.
I recommend going with the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror # KS62134G, which will maintain the power remote, heated glass, and LED turn signal capabilities as long as your existing mirrors have them.
