Recommended Brake Controller for 2019 Chevy Express Van

Hey all. Going to be towing with my new 2019 Express Van looking for the best brake controller you recommend along with all the wiring and things I would need to install it. Currently have nothing on the van in terms of wiring. Thanks!

For the brake controller itself I highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 because it offers the best display on the market for making easy adjustments, reading full diagnostic messages (instead of just codes), and operating the manual override. For trailer wiring you will need to start with a 4-way connector for which I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118392 because of its ease of installation that requires you to simply make a couple connections to factory ports behind trim panels in the rear cargo area. I have attached an install video that you can use for reference.

You will then need to convert the 4-Way to a fully-functional 7-Way with the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This kit includes the connector itself and all the wiring and circuit breakers needed to make this conversion. I have attached the written installation instructions that you can take a look at as well.
