How Does Spring Bar Tension of Equal-I-Zer Weight Distribution System Adjust

Question:

are the bars on a 4pt sys adjustable for spring tension or are chain tension sys like on reese cam better. I have a toyhauler , but load it with differents weights depending on what toys I take. I now have a 5th wheel but am going back to a bumper pull. On a previous TH that i had that was a bumper pull I had sometimes to stop and adjust the chain tension on the bars to stop sway. So my main ? is are fixed mount bars good to use is trailer cargo weight changes. Thanks for any input.

The spring bar tension of the Equal-I-Zer systems like the part # EQ37100ET you referenced is adjustable but since the adjustment is made using the angle of the head of the system it wouldn't be ideal for quick adjustments. I attached a picture that shows how the adjustments of this system are made.

A setup that uses chains instead and allows you to use different link lengths may be more ideal for you like the Reese # RP66542 which is similarly rated at 600-1,200 lb tongue weight.
