Swinging Bike Rack to Carry Triathlon Bike
Question:
I want to carry Tri bike with SR2415. The problem is the available space on the bike under the top tube from front tube to seat post is too small compared to the two bars of the bike rack. In addition the seat post of my Tri bike tube is aero shape sort of elliptical and not round. Is there a way to get around it?

The only potential workaround to carry your triathlon bike with the SportRack Ridge Swing 4 Bike Rack # SR2415 would be to use a bike frame adapter bar such as # SR0500 which may work with the aero shaped seat post on your Tri bike as its hook opening is 3-1/2" long x 2-1/8" wide so you would need to ensure your seat post is smaller than those dimensions. The adapter bar telescopes from 15-1/4" to 22-5/8" so you would also need to measure to ensure the distance from your seat post to handlebar stem post (assuming your tri bike has one, as not all do) is between that range.
Apart from that your best option is going to be a platform bike rack and for a swinging platform rack the only option (as of this writing) is the RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack # RKY10002.
This wheel-mounted bike rack fits 2" hitches and will work with bikes that have a diameter between 20" and 29" with a wheelbase of no more than 48". It both titls and folds, and the closest part of the rack measures 9-1/2" from the center of your hitch pin hole when folded down and 7" when folded up.
The rack includes a hitch lock to secure the rack to your car and a cable lock to secure your tri bike to the rack. The RockyMounts BackStage also comes with a lifetime warranty; I have added links to a couple of video reviews of this rack for you to take a look at.
