Question:
My 2012 Suburban 1500 has a 11/32inch transmission cooler line. Will a 3/8inch hose be too big for this adapter if a clamp is put on it?

We actually had the chance to install the Derale transmission cooler part # D13503 on a 2011 Chevy Suburban very similar to yours and we used the GM fitting adapter part # D13035 that you referenced and it fit and worked well. If you check out the install video I attached you'll see the entire process outlined.
