Will Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Cable Snow Tire Chains Fit 255/55R17 Tires on a 2011 Subaru Forester
Question:
Will these fit a 2011 Subaru Forester with 225/55/r17 tires? I see the tire size is on the list of supported sizes for the chains but I have heard that wheel well clearances for the Subaru limit options.

The Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC339DC that you referenced will fit the 255/55R17 size tires on your 2011 Subaru Forester and are Class S compatible meaning they are meant for low clearance situations.
With that being said, it is important to check your copy of the owner's manual to see what the manufacturer says about using tire chains on your vehicle. When I took a look at the online version of your owner's manual it did state that tire chains cannot be used on your vehicle. If you choose to do so then any damages that may occur would not be covered under warranty.
Since this is the case with your vehicle the K-Summit Chains # TH02230K55 would be a better option because it doesn't wrap around the back of the tire at all. It isn't as cost-effective, but these chains are much easier to install/remove and they are very high quality so you know you will get good use out of them if you have to use chains frequently.
