Does Battery Life Solar Battery Charger Prevent Sulfation and is there an Extension Cord

Question:

Does simply keeping a full charge prevent sulfation? Also, 8foot seems limiting - do you sell anything that could extend the cord length?

Sulfation occurs in lead acid batteries when lead sulfate crystals form. In order to convert the crystals back to sulfuric acid it would require a certain pulsing electric charge which is not present on some battery chargers. For that you would need a different type of AC charger such as # CTEK56674. Sulfation can occur with regular trickle charger even if you are keeping the battery charged most of the time. The CTEK charger will maintain the battery and prevent sulfation because it does have the proper kind of pulsing charge feature you need.
