Should 2019 Cyclone 4005 with Triple Axles be Fully Loaded when Installing Comfort Ride Shock Kit

Question:

My question is about the Roadmaster Comfort ride shock system. My camper has a GVWR of 20,000 lb. Dry it weighs 16,290 lb. That is a difference of 3,710 lb. Therefore changing the height of the camper between loaded and unloaded. These shocks are to be installed when the wheels are on the ground. The shocks come with restraint wires and are to be installed with these wires still on which partially compressors these shocks for installation. My question is should the shocks be installed when the camper is fully loaded at 20,000 lb or should they be installed when it is at a dry weight of 16,290 lb since this will change the travel distance of the shocks and the mounting position to the frame?

What you want to do is load your trailer about halfway so that your suspension will be sitting in the middle of fully loaded and dry for installing the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers # RM-2460. I confirmed this with my contact at Roadmaster.

Please note that since you have a triple axle trailer you also need the Add-On Kit # RM-2460-50.

Attached is a review video and the written installation instructions for you to check out.
