Ability to Have Both Gooseneck and 5th Wheel Hitch on Truck

Question:

I am currently truck shopping. Majority of 3/4 and 1 tons have a turnover ball. I have a 5th wheel trailer and need a 5th wheel hitch. Is there a way to have both? Does it make a difference if it is a gooseneck hitch but doesnt turn over? Kinda lost over here.

One of the many great features of the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch is that it can be used with the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitches. This allows you to retain the gooseneck hitch in the truck if ever needed while also using one of the best 5th wheel hitches on the market to tow a 5th wheel trailer.

If you end up getting a short bed truck that is equipped with the B&W Turnoverball then you will want to use the Companion Slider # BWRVK3400 and if it is a long bed you will use the fixed Companion # BWRVK3500, both of which are rated for 20,000 pounds. They will install directly to the ball hole of the Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch.

I have attached a couple video demonstrations that you can also check out.

We do have other similar adapters available such as the Draw-Tite Hi-Rise Hitch Adapter # 9480 that will work with other brand gooseneck hitches as well. This particular unit is compatible with the Hide-A-Goose hitch by Draw-Tite or Reese and the Under-Bed hitch from Bulldog. I have attached a link that will take you directly to our available selection of gooseneck hitch to 5th wheel trailer adapters.

When you find the right truck just let me know exactly what it is equipped with and I will be happy to verify which adapters/5th wheel hitches will fit and work perfectly.
