Should Adhesive Backing of ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad Be Left On
Question:
I need to slide the heater pad under an existing installed tank with only about 3/8inch gap. Would I be able to leave the backing on the adhesive side and leave it installed that way?

You'll want to remove the adhesive backing of the ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad w/ Thermostat # 277-000163 before you leave it underneath a tank permanently. It probably wouldn't be a big deal in the short term but long term it's hard to say what the backing will do.
