Compatibility of PullRite 4100 16K 5th Wheel Hitch with Universal Rails in 2002 Chevy 2500 Short Bed

Question:

I have a 2002 Siverado 2500 HD short boxand I’d like to mount a used Pullright 4100 in the box. I have universal bars already mounted in the bed from a previous owner. Will the 4100 fit these bars and my truck? Will I need additional mounting parts to make it work?

Your PullRite 16K 4100 model 5th wheel hitch is compatible with the industry standard base rails like # RP30035 already mounted in your 2002 Chevy 2500 short bed when you use the 4409 adapter from PullRite. We do not carry that part, but it will make your rails compatible with your hitch.

You may also want to add a 5th wheel wiring harness like the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # 41157 to give you easy connection access and a clean look. I've attached videos and a photo to assist.
