Cargo Carrier for 2016 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab With Factory Roof Rack
Question:
I have a 2016 Tacoma double cab with factory racks. The bar spacing in wide 44” center to center. Will Yakima boxes fit? Or what box does?

Unfortunately there is not a rooftop cargo box which will work with that spread although there is still a way for you carry cargo on your Tacoma's factory roof rack.
I recommend the Rightline Gear Sport 2 # RL100S20 which will attach directly to your Tacoma's factory roof rack and has 15 cubic feet of storage capacity, which is three more than the RocketBox you asked about. The Gear Sport 2 is water resistant and has a wedge shape on the front which helps to minimize drag and won't move around on top of your truck because it has an anti-skid bottom.
I have added a link to a video review of this bag for you to check out.
