Will Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver Reduce Ground Clearance on a 2018 Ford F-150
Question:
How much ground clearance will I have when I install a front hitch on my 2018 F-150? I have seen other pickups where the receiver sits lower than the front fascia and that would be too low for my liking.

The good news is that neither the Curt # C31083 or the Draw-Tite # 65067 front mount trailer hitches will reduce the ground clearance on your 2018 Ford F-150.
If you want a receiver that sits above the lowest piece of fascia then the Curt requires that a square hole be cut in the front fascia and it sticks straight through. The Draw-Tite sits a little lower and just requires that a notch be cut out at the bottom of the fascia, but the bottom of the receiver sits about level with the lowest part of your fascia so it is easier to trim the fascia.
Attached are the installation instructions as well as photos comparing the 2 different options. Most people use a front receiver for a winch so I have attached a link to our list of winches that you can filter through but if you plan on using it for a different application just let me know and I can recommend a product for you.
