Will Thule Xsporter Pro Cause Any Damage to Truck Bed Rails

Question:

Just received early Christmas present, it is a 500 XTB Thule with a 898 Hullavator pro. Not sure how long this has been hidden from me, but my question my truck bed is plain ole metal, no special rails or bed liners over them, with hooking up this rack result in the clamp embossing the shape of the clamp either from the bottom or top into the metal?

The Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH500XTB will not result in any embossing. The Xsporter will clamp onto your side rails and so long as you tighten clamp bolts to 10 ft-lbs using the included 7/32" Allen Key you won't encounter any issues.
