Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Toyota Tundra Long Bed

Question:

I am about to buy a 2018 Toyota Tundra and want to tow a fifth wheel trailer with it, what would you recommend I get? The truck will be a long bed since I don't want to use a slider.

For your 2018 Toyota Tundra long bed the fifth wheel hitch I recommend is the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3500. This hitch is considered by nearly all RVers to be the gold standard of fifth wheel hitches because of how well it's made, how long it lasts, and how well it holds the king pin of the trailer it's attached to.

To install this hitch requires the underbed rail kit from B and W part # BWGNRK1257-5W. What's also great about this rail kit is that it doubles as a gooseneck hitch too. I attached an install video for the rail kit and a review video for the hitch for you to check out as well.

For a 7-way to install in the bed of your truck to make connecting your trailer lights easier you would want the part # 41157. Most 7-ways will be at the rear of the truck near the bumper which doesn't work will with fifth wheel hitches. This kit installs in line with the 7-way at the rear of your truck and gives you a second one to install in the bed.
