Dimensions and Capcaity for Firestone Heavy Duty Air Bag # F9294
Question:
I have a 1996 Beaver Savanna motorhome with the Magnum chassis. The chassis has qty 4 air bags per axle 2 bags per side on each axle. What is the dim of the mounting plates, can the bottom be mounted with a single bolt with the option of two, how much weight can each bag carry for my chassis has a max of 30k lbs 20k on back and 10k on front. And is your price cheaper if I buy more than 1 max 8.

The Replacement Heavy Duty Firestone Air Bag # F9294 referenced in your question features a mounting plate diameter of 9 inches. The distance between the two mounting bolts on center is 5-1/2 inches. The bottom mounting surface has a diameter of 9-1/2 inches and uses just one bolt.
I have attached a diagram to assist.
I spoke with my contact at Firestone and they actually are unable to provide a specific maximum capacity for this air spring. This is because the limit will be specific to the trailer it is used on, as this is designed to be a factory replacement part.
If the measurements listed above differ from what you have on your existing spring then this will not work as a replacement. If this is the case please let me know the measurements you took and I will be happy to try and find the correct unit.
