For my 2018 Lexus RX 350 I need a brake controller, I'll be towing a small camper that has brakes.

Expert Reply:
For your 2018 Lexus RX 350 the brake controller is the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 because this controller is a proportional style which means that it senses the amount of braking that the tow vehicle is applying and puts a proportional amount of braking on the trailer's brakes. Unlike other proportional controllers which one is more flexible in how it can mount which makes it easier to install and has a display with full words so you don't have to decipher any codes.
To install this in you will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # 56083.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
