Will Thule Canyon XT Cargo Box Fit in Top Channel of Rhino Rack Roof Rack
Question:
Im searching for a set of cross bars for my 2011 Infiniti QX56. I have a Thule cargo basket, specifically, the Thule Trail XT Large. I also have a Thule kayak rack. In the past, I have mounted these two accessories to my Thule Aeroblade cross bars by means of the T track. These Thule bars work perfectly on my Honda Pilot, but they are not large enough for the Infiniti. Thule does make longer cross bars, which fit my Infiniti of course, but the only bars compatible with my Infiniti extend beyond the side rails, and I dont like the way that looks. Therefore, Im considering purchasing the Rhino Vortex cross bars because I think the look is much cleaner. My question is, are the T tracks on the Rhino-Rack Vortex cross bars compatible with my Thule basket and kayak rack? They look the same, but I want to make sure before I purchase. Thule and Rhino Rack crossbar channels are the same dimension so your Thule Trail XT like the part # TH864XT would fit in the channels of the Rhino Rack roof rack part # JA7965 that you referenced. This rack is a confirmed fit for your 2011 Infiniti QX56 with raised roof rails as well.
