Replacing 15-Tooth Gear on Lippert Slide-Out Gear Pack
Question:
I have 2016 Chapparral 29RLS 5th wheel with a broken slide out gear. Is that difficult to replace by a do- it-Yourself??

Replacing the 15-Tooth Gear # LC101941 on your existing slide-out gear pack isn't too difficult at all. Once you access the gear pack (make sure to safely support the slide-out room) it is just a matter of knocking out one of the pins that hold the gear and rollers into place. With the pin removed the rollers and gears will slide right off and you can replace the gear with the new unit.
