Automatic Sliding Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Ram 2500 with Factory Rail Kit

Question:

We have 2016 ram 2500 Cummins 4x4, trail rated.the truck has over size tires and a 3inch lift in the front end. To make it level. We just bought a used 2012 fifh wheel. Dry it was 14075 lbs. They sold me goose neck hitch because it was cheaper, way cheaper and I didnt know any better. I got a 4 yr extended warranty for all the mechanicals. Now Im not sure this is safe are is my warranty voided? But any way I want to fix this with a slider that works its self. My truck is a 4 door. Box is only 62???. What would you recommend? Do I need the 2inch riser? Because of my set up. One other thing. We will be keeping the ram. But mite go with a new model. Thanks in advance for you exspertices.

What gooseneck were you sold? Is it the factory Ram rail kit with a gooseneck or an aftermarket one? If you have the factory gooseneck hitch you'd also have 4 pucks around the center gooseneck hitch which is what the # RP30154 you referenced is designed to fit. With that installed you could then use the Demco Hijacker Auto Slide part # DM8550034 which will fit the adapter and give you a hitch that will automatically slide as you make tight turns.
