My recommendation for towing your 2010 Ford F-250 Quad Cab Diesel would be the Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 All-Terrain Heavy Duty Tow Bar, part # RM-422, and the Roadmaster MX Base Plate Kit, part # 4412-3. This tow bar and base plate kit are especially designed to tow vehicles with heavy duty frames and the tow bar installs easily into a 2 inch receiver hitch. You will need to have a 2 inch hitch receiver on your farm machinery to use this tow bar. I am including a link to the instructions on the Blackhawk 2 tow bar.
This tow bar has a towing weight capacity of 10,000 lbs and the base plates that attach to the front of your vehicle are specifically designed for your 2010 Ford F-250 Diesel.
You will also need safety cables # BX88197 and a lighting kit such as # RM-2120. And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the easiest systems to set up and use is the Even Brake proportional system # RM-9400. It will apply the trucks brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the easiest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
Be sure to consult your truck owners manual for specific information on flat towing the vehicle. I have also included some helpful links to our series of help articles on flat towing for you.
