Yes, the Westin Perfect Match Series Replacement Step Bumper, # 31012, is designed to fit 1997 to 2004 Dodge Dakota Base models, R/T, and SLT models so it will fit your 2000 SLT.
My contact at Westin said that the Diamond step bumpers, which are the more universal ones, will not fit the Quad Cab because they come with separate brackets to to mount the bumper that are not compatible with the Quad cab. But as long as it is a Perfect Match like # 31012 it will fit.
