Is ThermaHeat RV Tank Pad Needed on All Water Tanks of an RV

Question:

I have a jayco eagle and want to install tank pads on all 4 tanks. Fresh is 75 gal. Gray, black, and galley are 35 gal each. I will have the fresh tank on a separate switch and the 3 waste water tanks on there own switch. I have plenty of room in the converter, underbelly is completely off at this point and I am ready to purchase pads. I’m thinking DC operation, I just need a little direction on the right tank heater for my trailer. Thanks

The only tank that actually requires a heating pad is the freshwater one because the other tanks you can simply pour RV antifreeze into and not have to worry about heating the tanks. That said if you wanted to you could install Thermaheat pads like the part # 277-000163 on all of the tanks. This is DC powered like you mentioned as well. The pad measures 25" Long x 7-1/4" Wide.
