Why is Reese Sidewinder Pin Box Not Compatible with Curt Q Series Hitch?

The product review on this item states that it is not compatible with the Curt Q series hitches. Why is that? Is there another similar product that is?

The rotating pin boxes like the Sidewinder Fifth Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret by 5th Airborne, 16K # ST400-5AS16K are not compatible with the Curt Q series hitches because of the hitch head design that had a unique spherical axial bearing. That system allowed too much movement for any of the rotating pin boxes to be compatible.
In order to use a Sidewinder, you would need to use a different hitch. If you let me know what bed length you have and what series your Ram is, I can tell you what hitch would work best for you.
