Atwood Air Command Heat Pump Shutting Off at Night
Question:
Mt heatpump was working fine and then stopped about midnight. It will come on and work if i switch over to dry or air side but nothing will happen in the heat mode. fan nothing will work. I was wondering if there was a reset somewhere. The outside temp is 35 deg when it stopped

The heat pump on your Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # AT15028-22 is designed to work in ambient temperatures as low as around 45 degrees. As the air gets colder though the Air Conditioner is designed to shut off the heat pump automatically and switch to the furnace. This is primarily because the heat pump will not provide enough heat by itself to maintain the inside temperatures when the temp outside drops to this level.
