Expert Reply:
The catalytic converter on your 1994 Ford F-350 with the 7.3 V8 diesel engine will be located directly after the downpipe if present. I say if present as it is a fairly common part to remove on these engines because it will free up power. The down pipe is a part of the exhaust system that connects to the turbo exit. Simply follow the turbo exit down under the cab until you find the catalytic converter or catalytic converter delete pipe. Please note that you will need to have access under the vehicle in order to see the catalytic converter or catalytic converter delete pipe.
Unfortunately, I don't have a diagram of this for you but I am sure your local Ford dealer would if you need an exact location. If you need to replace this then a popular option we offer is the MagnaFlow Spun Stainless Steel Catalytic Converter for Diesel Engines. If you measure the outlet diameter of your downpipe and the inlet diameter of your mid pipe then you can use that to choose the correct catalytic converter. The options are attached for you below.
3" Inlet/Outlet: part # MF60020
3.5" Inlet/Outlet: part # MF60010
4" Inlet/Outlet: part # MF60021
5" Inlet/Outlet: part # MF60012
