how do I find the key number on the lock?replacing the barrel lock on my Diversatec trailer lock. I dont know where to fine the number of t

To re-key a Diversi-Tech ball mount with a new core does not require you to know your old key number actually.
You can purchase Re-Keying Kit, # DTLBM02RK, to re-key your ball mount. The kit includes a tool to remove the locking cylinder you have in the ball mount now.
Once you receive the kit, you will need to put some air tool oil in the hole that the lock set screw goes in and let it soak for a while. This will release the thread locker and allow you to remove the set screw. The set screw is located under a piece of tape on the ball mount.
If you check out the video I attached you'll see the process outlined.
