Can EZ-Lube Hub and Drums be Used on Non-EZ-Lube Spindles

Question:

Okay, I may have screwed up here, I thought EZ-lube provided a way to grease the bearings without having to remove the hub assy. So thats what I ordered, now Im sort of thinking it has something to do with a specially made spindle. If I dont have that spindle, can I still use these?

This Trailer Hub & Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K will work on your non-ez lube spindles. The only difference between the ez lube hub and drums and the non-ez-lube hub and drums is the grease cap. The ez lube ones like the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K have a remove-able rubber seal on the cap that allows you to access the grease fitting of the ez-lube spindles.

The # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K will work for you regardless if you have EZ-lube spindles or not. I also attached a video on trailer brake installation for you to check out.
