The Putco PURE High-Performance 9006XS Halogen Headlight Bulbs - Double White # P239006XDW and the Putco PURE High-Performance 9005XS Halogen Headlight Bulbs - Mirror White # P239005XMW have a difference in wattage with the 9005XS having 10 watts more power and they use a very similar and yet different connector so certain models are a confirmed fit for either and others are not. The only other difference is the color temperature.

You can change the wiring harness to fit and both of these use thicker gauge wire for the additional power needs. The Putco Wiring Harness for 9006/9006XS Halogen Bulbs # P239006HD or # P239005HD for the 9005XS bulbs. The Putco Heavy-Duty Harness and Relay for 9005/9005XS/9006/9006XS Halogen Bulbs # P239006HW will work for both.
