We do have mounting bracket kits available to install 5th wheel base rails on your 2010 Ford F-150 with the 5-1/2 foot bed.

If you happen to have the Reese Universal Base Rails # RP58058 then the custom bracket kit you need is the Quick-Install Bracket Kit # RP50081. These custom brackets will work to install the Reese Base Rails by using existing holes in your truck's frame.

Please let me know if you have different brand base rails and I will be happy to recommend a bracket kit that will work. We do not recommend using different brand brackets and rails as its possible the brackets will not line up correctly.

Please note that since you have a 5-1/2 foot bed you will need to have a Reese Sidewinder pin box (or another model rotating pin box) on the trailer to extend the pivot point back from the hitch. Because of the short bed on your Ford F-150 this is the only way that you will be able to have the cab clearance needed to make sharper turns.

I have attached a great article on the Sidewinder Pin Boxes that you can take a look at. You will need to determine the existing pin box model on your trailer in order to pick out the correct Sidewinder. If you can tell me what model pin box is on your trailer I will be happy to make a recommendation.
