How Do I Know if the K Source 12-Foot Camera Extension Cable is Needed
Question:
I have a 1999 super duty super cab long bed dually. Will I need the extension cable and if so is it available now? I dont want to purchase something I cant use. How well does it work for hooking up a trailer?

For your 1999 Ford F-250/F-350 SuperCab with the 8' bed I DO recommend using the K Source 12-Foot Camera Extension Cable part # KSVS8-12 with the K-Source Vision System Backup Camera part # KSVS-8 as this is going to allow you freedom on where you run the wire. The truck is also 20' long and the harness that comes with the kit is only 18' long. The cables will need to maneuver around objects which means it is not a straight shot and you will need a cable that is longer than the length of the truck. They are both available for purchase.
