I recommend going with the Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack # Y02633 for your 2018 Toyota Prius Hatchback. It is easily adjusted, uses a simpler 4 cam-buckle system for quick installation, and comes with bike and rack locks. It can carry up to 3 bikes with a weight capacity of 90 lbs but it only weighs 21 lbs!

The FullBack comes with everything that you need to install it so you won't need any adapters. Yakima actually has specific fit instructions for your application. You just have to follow the 253, 275, 289, 290, and 291 fit tips.

To secure the front wheels of your bikes I recommend using the Softride # SR54FR. You may also need the Yakima Tube Top Adapter # Y02531 to keep any bikes level that don't have a horizontal top tube like what a traditional men's bike has.
