Do CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Straps # IMF18800 Self Tension
Question:
I understand that these straps have a spring mechanism to retract the loose portion of the strap. My question is that after you ratchet down the strap, do they self tighten like a seat belt, ie like when hitting a bump?

If the load shifted that you were using the CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Straps # IMF18800 to secure you'd have to get out and tighten them up. They do not self-tension.
