Is 2K Rating for Redline Ramp Spring is Under a Load

Question:

I am interested in a better understanding of the torque rating of the 2 k ramp springs. I am thinking the 2k is 2000 lb inches at 90 degrees. Is that correct and if not what is the in lb rating per degree of deflection? I understand these torsion springs are typically rated in lb in. thanks

You are correct that the 2K rating of the Ramp Spring # RS16933LH is for when it has a load on it. I spoke with my contact at Redline about your question and they confirmed this. The inch/pound rating that you mentioned is what I found as well.
