Question:
RVS-83112--turning off the camera
asked by: Craig K
Expert Reply:
The Rear View Safety Wireless Hitch Camera # RVS-83112 automatically shuts off after 15 minutes or you can manually hit the power button on the monitor and camera for a faster shut off by holding down the power button for 3 second on each. It is not designed to be used as an observation system, so the camera turns itself off to extend the life of the 9 volt battery it uses. To use again you will need to hit the power button on the camera and make sure the monitor is paired to the camera. The camera is designed to withstand all weather elements and is 100% waterproof. It has 6 infrared night vision lights giving 30 feet of vision.
