Timbren Jounce Spring Installation in 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 non-Pre-Runner with 3-Leaf Springs
Question:
I just ordered some Timbrens for my 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 truck to help with sag and sway I’ve been experiencing while towing heavy load. I ordered that specified 3 leaf springs, since my truck has only three. One of the springs is much thicker than the other 2. Is there going to be any issues with this install do ya think? Thx for your time and expertise.

The Timbren rear jounce spring kit # TTORTUN4L is the correct one for the 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 non-Pre-Runner that has the OEM 3-leaf rear spring suspension. The bottom leaf of these springs can be seen in the linked photo that shows a customer's installation. You'll notice that the bottom leaf does appear to be thicker than the other two.
