How to Test a 7-Way Trailer Connector on a Tow Vehicle

I need to test the hookups on my truck that would go to the camper for the lights and the brakes but I have not purchased the camper yet is there a way to test them without having a camper to plug them in

All you need to do is plug the tester into the trailer connector and then activate the signal while checking for the red light on the tester.
