Compatibility of King Pin Tripod Stabilizer on Elite Suite 5th Wheel with Landing Gear Failure
Question:
Can I use your kingpin tripod to support my RV while the hydronic lines is being replaced?

Expert Reply:
The Ultra-Fab Economy 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer - Steel - 31" to 54" - 5,000 lbs # UF19-950500 is rated for king pin weight up to 5,000 lbs. If you know your weight will not surpass that, it will give you stabilization but it is not intended to be used as an independent jack. A better option is to use your truck and hitch to be that support while the line is being replaced.
This tripod is intended as a stabilizer to minimize movement of your trailer while using the landing gear and other stabilizers. If you use other jack stands like # PTW41021 to support the weight of your trailer near the landing gear, then this will be a great addition.
