Compatibility of Yakima Hangout 2 Bike Rack on 2008 VW R32 with Factory Spoiler

I have a 2008 vw r32 and wanted to see if this bike rack will fit as it says it fits on the rabbit and gti. But my r32 has a factory spoiler . Thankyou

The 2008 VW R32 does not have a confirmed fit from any of our manufacturers which means in most cases they haven't tested it. I reached out to my tech contact and Yakima and they said the Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack # Y02637 will work just fine with your factory spoiler.
I recommend the Security Strap for Yakima Trunk Mounted Bike Carrier # Y02623 and the cable lock # e98891 to secure your bikes and rack to your locked hatch. If you have any step thru bikes, you may also want to consider the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes # 64005 for level transport and ground clearance. I've attached some videos to assist.
