Replacement Tarp for Extang Classic Platinum Tonneau Cover on 2012 Silverado 1500

Question:

I have a 2012 chevy Silverado 1500 with extended cab WT V6 motor and need a replacement cover. The orginal cover size is 81 1/2 inch x 69 inch, I could not find a part number anywhere on the cover or rail.......Can you please assist me in ordering the correct replacement cover. Thank you for your help.

Tonneau covers will usually have their series/part number information printed or on a separate tag sewn to the underside of the cover at the tailgate end. The part number information is usually placed there since that is the part of the cover easiest to access.

Based on your cover dimensions of 81-1/2 x 69-inches it sounds like you have the 6-1/2-foot bed.

On the pages I linked for you you'll be able to see all Extang brand tonneau covers that fit the 2012 Silverado 1500 with 6-1/2-foot beds, with and without the Cargo Management System.

The Classic Platinum cover is no longer made but we do have many sizes of replacement tarps such as # EX6770 and # EX6405 so your best bet is to check the underside of the existing cover for a part number and then simply use our search box on our site.
