Best Ways to Carry Bikes with 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
What's the best way to carry bikes with my 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon?

For your 2019 Subaru Outback wagon the best way to carry bikes is with a hitch mounted bike rack. Hitch racks are the best because hitches offer the most secure way to mount a bike rack, are the easiest to load/unload and install/uninstall, and don't touch any painted body panels. First you'd want a hitch which the Draw Tite part # 75673 is the best option as it does not require a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load and because it has the best price.
For a bike rack I really like the Saris Superclamp EX part # SA4025F.
This is a platform bike rack that only touches the bike at the tires and only weighs 35 lbs. The biggest drawback to platform bike racks has always been the weight of them, but with this rack you get the best of both worlds. The preferred attachment style with the lighter weight.
