Till we recently got our 2018 GMC 2500 Sierra truck with 6 1/2foot bed and underbed 5th-wheel towing prep package, we had your Item # PS30129 Pro Series 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider - 15,000 lbs installed in our 2011 Silverado. I want to make sure it will fit in the slots of Item # DM6194 Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 6-1/2foot Bed - 21K

The Pro Series fifth wheel hitch part # PS30129 will fit the rails that the Demco Adapter part # DM6194 provides. This would be the correct solution to allow you to use your hitch in your 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed with factory rail kit.
