The biggest difference between manual landing gear like Stromberg Carlson Manual Landing Gear # LG-183708 and electric landing gear like Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010 is convenience, and that would easily be the biggest pro in terms of electric landing gear and the cranking you would have to do is, of course, the largest con to manual landing gear.
The only other factor that could be considered a pro or con is the price; in general electric landing gear is going to cost more than manual landing gear.
There is one consideration to make in terms of manual landing gear, which is that you can always add the parts to make it electric after the fact. For example, with the Stromberg Carlson Manual Landing Gear # LG-183708, if you decide the cranking is to laborious you can add Motor and Switch Kit # LG-217884 to make it electric.
To determine the correct replacement landing gear, you will need to measure the mounting brackets on your trailer from outside to outside. From there you will be able to choose the amount of lift and weight capacity that will work for you. I've added a link to our page with our selection of landing gear - both manual and electric - for you to take a look at.
