Tekonsha Prodigy Trailer Brake Controller Shows P.L and N.C Error
Question:
I had to replace my truck battery and now my prodigy brake controller flashes PL while I’m braking, and constantly flashes n.c. while I’m drive. Is there something I need to do to reset it? Thank you.

The first thing I would do is unplug the wiring harness from the back of the brake controller and then plug it back in to see if the issue is resolved. If the issue is not resolved then you will need to begin tracing the wires. The first code you mentioned "P.L" indicates that there has been an interruption of power while braking. The most likely cause of this issue is the power or ground wire. What you will want to do is trace each of these back to the battery and check that the ring terminals are securely attached to both the negative and positive posts on the battery terminal.
The second code you mentioned "N.C" would only be an issue if you are towing a trailer as it simply means that there is no trailer connected. If "N.C" appears while you are driving and the trailer is connected then odds are you have a short on the blue brake output wire that leads from the brake controller to the braking assemblies. You would need to trace this wire back for shorts while paying special attention to the trailer connectors.
