Wiring 1987 Dodge Dakota for Towing
Question:
my harness does not have the quick connecters anymore i spliced both turn signals but not sure what wire the brown one splices too could you please help

Expert Reply:
The brown wire on the trailer connector feeds the running light circuit on the trailer. Use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to probe the circuits that feed the taillight assembly. Once you find the circuit that shows current while the headlights are on, tap the brown wire into that circuit.
