Swing Up Jack Needed for a Coleman Trailer with a Battery Box Mounted on the Tongue
Question:
The tongue jack on our Coleman Fleetwood Destiny tent trailer jammed. A replacement must be no more than 8 inches from the center of the swivel hole to the very top of the jack in order to be stowed, clearing the welded-on battery box. I have been unable to locate one like that. Can you help? Thanks

As long as the tongue on your trailer is a 3 x 3 or 3 x 4 inch tongue, the Fulton F2 Trailer Jack, # F1413040134, that you mentioned should work great. The Pivot point on this jack is adjustable. I produced a short video, see link, showing how to adjust the mounting bracket so you can determine if there is clearance for the battery box on your trailer.
At the highest point the center of the swivel is 6-1/2 inches from the top of the jack. This should give you clearance to mount the jack and swing it up without hitting the battery box.
