What Size Crossbars Are Needed to Use the Thule Hullavator on a 2016 Subaru Forester
Question:
Hi - 2016 Subaru Forester. What length of bars are best? When I used with 50 inches the kayak would scratch the car when brought to down position.

The best length of crossbar to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898 on your 2016 Subaru Forester is going to depend on what type of crossbar you have. If you have the square crossbars then you could easily go up to part # TH712500 which are 60" long.
If you have a different crossbar type then please let me know what that is and I would be glad to provide an alternative solution.
